passion, strong account management and low voltage skills

Matt and our leadership team believes that talent and work ability extend beyond ourselves and the day to day tasks that we endeavor to accomplish.

Background

Matt Kowalske has been involved in the low voltage electrical industry for over fourteen years in various roles. Starting in the industry as an Engineering Support Technician for an Atlanta based integrator, he quickly moved into a more vital role as Head Systems Designer. From there, Matt moved into an expanded role on the engineering and consulting side of the industry as a Project Manager for a professional engineering firm. In March 2012, Matt decided to provide professional drawing services, with attention to detail, in a responsive and cost effective way as an independent business owner. He then formed Integrated Design, LLC, which has operated continuously for three years and continues to expand the contractor work base and diversity of system design. He holds multiple industry manufacturer’s certifications and a NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems certification.

Matt has lead project designs with a scope ranging from a construction budget value of ~$50,000 to upwards of $300 million, and system design that is scalable from 2,000 sq.ft. to millions of sq.ft. through various markets.

Current

Matt Kowalske is currently preparing for further advancement in certification for the NICET Fire Alarm Systems section with a focus on achieving the Level IV status of Senior Engineering Technician (SET). Matt also provides low voltage consulting services to assist in design-build projects: management of large client projects, low voltage consulting and planning with architects, engineers, and end users, engineered drawings and specification production, and various support roles.
